Concepts of Safety In Islam

A person was traveling from one place to another, after passing few miles he saw something on the way but he couldn’t able to understand, what is it? he keeps moving unless approaches near to it. He found a tree has been fallen on the road now obstructing the way. Without removing the tree, one couldn’t be able to continue the journey. He himself alone can’t remove the heavy tree. This situation can be very uncomfortable if someone is in emergency or in hurry. Here just pause for a moment and read the narration stated below: “The messenger of ALLAH (SWT) said while a man was on the way he found a throny branch of tree there on the way and remove it. ALLAH thanked him for that deed and forgive him. Sahih Bukhari, Book 43, Hadith 652” Here just imagine a man of lord came and saw the situation. He looks ahead the problem people may come across with. Then he starts thinking how to remove the obstruction to make the way clear for people’s movement. To give ease and comfort to many, he was actually putting himself to hard work. He brought some tools and necessary equipment, cut the tree into small pieces and clear the way. His heart gives him signals of cherish sensations and he felt much blessed for his act. If we all start removing obstructions either tiny or large then the world become a safe and a joyous place. Thanks to Prophet Muhammad Peace Be Upon Him for providing us safety concepts almost 1442 years ago through his teachings that are beneficial in this modern world too.

ایک شخص ایک جگہ سے دوسری جگہ جا رہا تھا ، چند میل کے فاصلے پر اس نے راستے میں کچھ دیکھا لیکن وہ سمجھنے سے قاصر تھا ، یہ کیا ہے؟ وہ حرکت کرتا رہتا ہے جب تک کہ اس کے قریب نہ آجائے۔ اس نے پایا کہ ایک درخت سڑک پر گر گیا ہے جو اب راستے میں رکاوٹ ہے۔ درخت کو ہٹائے بغیر کوئی سفر جاری نہیں رکھ سکتا۔ وہ خود تنہا بھاری درخت نہیں ہٹا سکتا۔ اگر کوئی ہنگامی حالت میں ہو یا جلدی میں ہو تو یہ صورتحال بہت تکلیف دہ ہو سکتی ہے۔ یہاں صرف ایک لمحے کے لیے رکیں اور ذیل میں بیان کردہ روایت پڑھیں: ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ رسول کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ، ایک شخص راستے پر چل رہا تھا کہ اس نے وہاں کانٹے دار ڈالی دیکھی ۔ اس نے اسے اٹھا لیا تو اللہ تعالیٰ نے اس کا یہ عمل قبول کیا اور اس کی مغفرت کر دی ۔صحیح بخاری، کتاب 43، حدیث 652 یہاں ذرا تصور کریں کہ ایک صاحب نے آکر صورت حال دیکھی۔ وہ اس مسئلے کو دیکھتا ہے جو لوگوں کو درپیش ہوسکتا ہے۔ پھر وہ سوچنے لگتا ہے کہ لوگوں کی نقل و حرکت کے لیے راستہ صاف کرنے کے لیے رکاوٹ کو کیسے دور کیا جائے۔ بہت سے لوگوں کو آسانی اور راحت دینے کے لیے ، وہ دراصل اپنے آپ کو سخت محنت پر لگا رہا تھا۔ وہ کچھ اوزار اور ضروری سامان لے کر آیا ، درخت کو چھوٹے چھوٹے ٹکڑوں میں کاٹ کر راستہ صاف کیا۔ اس کا دل اسے خوشگوار احساسات کے اشارے دیتا ہے اور اس نے اپنے عمل پر بہت برکت محسوس کی۔ اگر ہم سب چھوٹی یا بڑی رکاوٹوں کو دور کرنا شروع کردیں تو دنیا ایک محفوظ اور خوشگوار جگہ بن جائے گی۔ حضرت محمد صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کا شکریہ کہ انہوں نے تقریباَ 1442 سال پہلے ہمیں اپنی تعلیمات کے ذریعے حفاظتی تصورات فراہم کیے جو اس جدید دنیا میں بھی فائدہ مند ہیں۔

This narration is very beautiful and contains a sense of safety in it. Removing obstruction from the way can become a source of forgivness, which is a true motivation for all of us. Islam is a religon of peace, humanty, compassionate and is open to all mankind.
